    Labs – Physics/Chemistry/Biology

    Chemistry Lab

    1. Chemistry lab has a common counter, tiled with slate for the students to perform experiments on. The counters have sinks installed in them with a water supply so that the students can use the water for experiments as well as for cleaning the apparatus they use.
    2. The chemicals the student need in order to perform the mostbasic experiments are placed right in front of them on top of a shelf dedicated specifically for that reason.
    3. These chemicals generally include concentrated sulphuric acid, concentrated hydrochloric acid, and concentrated nitric acid, dilute sulphuric acid, dilute hydrochloric acid and dilute nitric acid, ammonium hydroxide, and acetic acid among others.
    4. There is a test tube stand where the students can place their test tubes. The test tubes is provided by the school. Usually, a total of 5 test tubes is enough to conduct all the experiments done at school.
    5. There is a shelf that is placed away from the counters. This shelf houses all the reagents.

    Physics Lab

The physics lab is a spacious place where 25-30 students from classes XI and XII can comfortably work. It has six working platforms to perform experiments. Next to it, there’s a room for teacher to prepare. Also, there is a storeroom with almirahs for keeping items, documents, and stock registers. For seating, there are 25-30 stools, enough for everyone. There’s also a water outlet and electrical points for experiments, plus a projector for better visuals. Inside, there’s a teacher’s table with drawers and two chairs. But the real highlight is the lab equipment. Alongside basic tools like Vernier calipers, voltmeter, ammeter, screw gauges, etc. there are modern gadgets like a Van de Graaff generator, Laser ray kit, digital multi meter, Basic electricity Kit, Optic kit, etc. In the lab, students don’t just follow instructions, they’re encouraged to be creative and original. All the experiments and investigatory projects are designed to spark innovation, following the CBSE curriculum. Physics lab is a place where scientific skills and critical thinking flourish.
