Education Excursion activities
- Vidyalaya plans educational excursions for the students every year. A VISIT TO RAMAN SCIENCE CENTRE was organized for the celebration of Environment Day in the month of June. In the month of January, students of Classes I and II were taken to various places of worship, post office and Nature walks. They were briefed about the importance of these institutions in social setup.
- The students of Classes III to VIII were taken to Raman Science Centre to nurture scientific attitudes by observing various models. The children brought their Tiffin. Transportation charges, entry tickets, and tickets for various shows were borne by the Vidyalaya . The students saw 3D film shows, and science on a sphere.
- The students of classes IX to XII were taken to NEERI under the initiatives and guidance of Mrs Harsha Nikose. They got an opportunity to listen to the guest lectures in the auditorium by eminent scientists of NEERI. The students visited the Medicinal Plant Garden, Pollution Control Zone and Water Purification Zone and learnt various aspects of these areas.
- A visit to the Veteran hospital was also organised wherein its research lab, the students visited different animal bone sets and skeletons, with preserved specimens.
- 17th February 2024, students from various Classes went to Raman Science Centre to participate in a quiz on the occasion of National Science Day.
- Students of PM SHRI KV CRPF NAGPUR visited Raman Science Centre to observe the sky, the nearest satellite moon, the nearest planets, and various constellations. The students learnt about the universe and our neighbours in the Sky by observing the sky through the telescope during night hours. Such educational visits are also planned by Vidyalaya Sky Observation during session 2024-25.
